The Herrfors Group mainly consists of the parent company Oy Herrfors Ab, the subsidiaries Katternö Kraft Oy Ab and Herrfors Nät-Verkko, as well as the subsidiary group Härjeåns in Sweden. Our owners are primarily municipalities and their energy companies: Jakobstad Energi Ab, Nykarleby Kraftverk Ab, Vetelin Energia Oy, Kronoby Elverk Ab, Korpelan Voima/Korpelan Energia Oy, as well as the privately owned Esse Elektro-Kraft Ab. In other words, we are ultimately owned by the customers in the region where we operate.

May 16, 2023 Katternö-konsernin tilinpäätös 2022 Vuosi 2022 merkitsi Katternö-konsernille uutta ennätystä sekä liikevaihdossa että tuloksessa. Liikevaihto oli 335 miljoonaa euroa, kasvua 126 miljoonaa euroa vuoteen 2021 verrattuna. Syynä on ensisijaisesti lisääntynyt sähköntuotanto, sillä kireän sähkömarkkinatilanteen vuoksi laitoksemme kävivät pitkään täydellä kapasiteetilla.
