The Herrfors Group

The Herrfors Group is owned by the region

The Herrfors Group mainly consists of the parent company Oy Herrfors Ab, the subsidiaries Oy Perhonjoki Ab, Katternö Kraft Oy Ab, Herrfors Nät-Verkko, as well as the subsidiary group Härjeåns in Sweden. Our owners are primarily municipalities and their energy companies: Jakobstad Energi Ab, Nykarleby Kraftverk Ab, Vetelin Energia Oy, Kronoby Elverk Ab, Korpelan Voima/Korpelan Energia Oy, as well as the privately owned Esse Elektro-Kraft Ab. In other words, we are ultimately owned by the customers in the region where we operate.
