Extensive power outage in the Savari area

The power outage that began on 3 October 2025 at 10:48 affects about 300 customers as well as several commercial properties in the Savari area. The cause of the outage is under investigation. We are currently working on isolating the fault area and carrying out repairs.

Customer instructions:

  • Avoid unnecessary switching on/off of electrical devices
  • Leave switches in the off position
  • Keep refrigerator and freezer doors closed
  • Follow the authorities’ instructions

The power outage that began on 3 October 2025 at 10:48 has been resolved, and electricity has been restored to about 300 customers as well as several commercial properties in the Savar area.

The cause of the outage was a faulty component in the electricity network.
