Who is Stable+ for?
If you want a stable base price and the chance to save by avoiding peak-price hours, choose Stable+. You’re protected from big price spikes and can reduce costs by shifting usage away from the highest Spot hours. It’s especially useful if you have electric heating, an EV, or other flexible loads.
You can choose Stable+ if your place of use is within the Herrfors Nät-Verkko distribution area, your annual consumption is under 100,000 kWh, and the site has not had Stable or Stable+ contract in the last 12 months.

How Stable+ works
The price of the Stable+ contract is determined by two factors: the majority of the price consists of a fixed energy price that remains stable from month to month. In addition, a consumption effect (calculated from your own usage behavior) either lowers or raises the price depending on when you use electricity.
This means you are protected from major price spikes, while shifting your consumption to cheaper spot hours is rewarded with a lower electricity bill.
What is the consumption effect?
Consumption effect is a pricing model where the cost of your electricity depends partly on when you use it.
If you use electricity during cheaper Spot-price hours, your bill will be lower; if you use electricity during more expensive Spot-price hours, your bill will be higher.
The better you time your usage, the more you can influence the total amount of your electricity bill.
Add renewable energy
Do you want to make sure that your electricity is produced with 100% renewable energy? When you choose the Vakaa Uusiutuva electricity contract, your electricity is produced by water, wind, sun or bioenergy. The renewable option is available for an additional fee to both private customers and companies.

Unlike a fully fixed-price contract, Stable+ also takes into account when you use electricity. It combines a fixed base price with the effect of consumption timing – you benefit especially when you shift usage to more moderate hours.
Yes. Because part of the price is determined by when you use electricity, you can save by, for example, scheduling electric car charging or heavy consumption during night-time hours.
Yes. The contract requires remote hourly metering so that the timing of your consumption can be taken into account when determining the price.
No. Stable+ provides protection against price fluctuations but does not tie you entirely to market prices. It is a balanced compromise between a fixed-price and a Spot contract.
Yes, you can. Stable+ is an open-ended contract, so you can switch to another product at any time by notifying us.
If you move, you can conveniently end the contract through our online service or by contacting our customer service.
Yes. If your current contract is valid until further notice, this new contract can replace the existing one. If you have a fixed-term contract, you can arrange for the new contract to start once the old one ends.
No, renewable energy is not automatically included in the electricity contract, but you can choose it as an additional service. By selecting renewable electricity, you reduce your carbon footprint and support cleaner energy production.
The electricity sales price is the same in all areas. The product is only available within the Herrfors Nät network distribution area. The total price also includes the distribution charges set by your local network company, which we cannot influence.
E-invoicing is an easy and secure way to pay your electricity bill. You can activate e-invoicing in your online bank by selecting Oy Herrfors Ab as the biller and entering the requested details from your invoice. After that, your invoices will be sent directly to your online bank for approval.
The transmission system operator Fingrid charges a balancing service fee for all electricity consumption, which we pass on to our customers. Starting from 1 September 2025, the fee will be 0.135 c/kWh + VAT. In the future, we will adjust the electricity sales price according to any changes in Fingrid’s balancing service fee without sending a separate notification. You can always check your current electricity sales price on our website or on your electricity bill.
