Extensive power outage in Jakobstad

An unplanned power outage affected approximately 10,000 Herrfors customers in Jakobstad on Wednesday afternoon, 21 January 2026. The outage occurred in connection with commissioning work on a transformer at Herrfors’ new substation in Sikören.
