Herrfors Nät-Verkkos new electricity connection map makes life easier for builders
Getting an electricity connection is now easier than ever. Herrfors Nät-Verkko has launched a new electricity connection map that allows you to quickly check an indicative price for a connection directly on the map. You can submit a request for a connection quote regardless of voltage level. In addition to low-voltage connections, the service also covers 20 kV and 110 kV connections.
The map service is designed especially for builders, property owners, and contractors to support planning.
How the service works
Select your desired plot or location on the map, and you can:
- see an estimated price for the electricity connection
- view the property ID of the selected area
- adjust the main fuse size, which automatically updates the price estimate
After viewing the estimate, you can proceed directly to submit a request for a connection quote easily online.
Not all locations can be priced directly on the map
The map displays a price when the connection can be implemented within an existing network area as a so-called zone-priced connection.
If the site requires network expansion or must otherwise be planned case by case, the map will not provide a direct price. In these situations, you can still submit a quote request, and we will design the connection individually.
Easy and fast support for planning
The new map helps you:
- estimate total construction costs at an early stage
- compare connection costs between different plots
- move smoothly from estimate to quote request
